New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards finalists named


Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and other international judges will chose between finalists including Xero, Vend, Buckley Systems and more.

Finalists have been named in the New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards 2013.

Winners will now be determined by an international judging panel that ncludes Apple founder Steve Wozniak, Craig Nevill-Manning, the Kiwi ex-pat Director of Engineering for Google in New York, and Howard Charney, Senior Vice President for Cisco.

“That we are able to attract this calibre of international and local judges is evidence of New Zealand’s growing reputation as a high-tech hotbed and these awards continue to be the Hi-Tech industry’s most important celebration of success and a wonderful showcase for our technology innovation and talent,” says Hi-Tech Awards Chairman Wayne Norrie.

Winners in each category will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner to be held at SkyCity in Auckland on 17th May 2013.
