The Radio Network's Newstalk ZB is still the number one commercial station nationwide in terms of market share, according to latest figures.

The station nabbed MediaWorks' Rachel Smalley in August to front Early Edition, leading into Mike Hosking’s breakfast show.
Second in the national breakfast market by audience numbers is The Edge – followed by ZM and The Rock. The Rock expanded its share of the breakfast market by over 1% since the last survey.
The Edge also has the biggest audience overall with 428,600 listeners tuning in each week.
In the last survey, The Edge duo Fletch and Vaughan were top in the drive category. However they recently left MediaWorks to work for rival The Radio Network. New TRN chief of content Dean Buchanan won’t say where the duo will go, as speculation mounts over whether the pair move to the recently refreshed Hauraki or ZM.
MediaWorks says The Rock’s Jono Pryor and Robert Taylor this quarter took over the position as number one drive show.
The Rock has retained its number one national standing in the 25-54 year-old market with 12.4% share.
The Radio Bureau says each week commercial radio continues to reach 76% of all people aged 10 years and over. This equates to 2.3 million commercial radio listeners weekly.
