Next-generation financial services software, Bravura Solutions Ltd (ASX:BVS) has announced the appointment of Tim Bakkenes as head of sales and account management. Based in New Zealand, Bakkenes will be a key member of Bravura New Zealand’s management team.

Bakkenes’s responsibilities include managing Bravura’s existing client relationships in New Zealand, as well as identifying emerging needs and opportunities across the country.

Bakkenes brings a wealth of experience to this newly created role. Over the past decade he served as an account executive and key account manager with financial software company, Iress. As the company’s primary relationship owner in New Zealand, Bakkenes took care of its key wealth management accounts, including banks, insurance companies and boutique providers, ensuring an outstanding client experience.

Prior to that, Bakkenes worked at iconic New Zealand companies, including Air New Zealand, where he was an account executive, and with insurance broking firm Aon.

Bakkenes is a proven team player with a track record in building relationships and helping businesses achieve sustainable growth. Bravura’s chief executive Tony Klim said: “We look forward to working with Tim to achieve our ambitions to grow our NZ business.”

Since commencing his role, Bakkenes has had a focus on expanding the companys digital advice proposition. Bravura’s digital advice platform enables advisers to deliver efficient and compliant advice, while managing relationships and providing advice documents face-to-face or by phone.

“I’m delighted to join the energetic and passionate team here at Bravura,” Bakkenes said.

“With the market’s focus on digital customer engagement and advice on the rise, I look forward to working with financial services businesses to implement innovative digital tools and strategies that can help New Zealanders achieve financial wellbeing.”
