Non-NZ citizen departures dampen net migration

Net migration rose in the latest figures though is still down on the July peak.

An increase in non-New Zealand citizen departures has driven a fall in net migration from the peak in July this year.

The latest figures show annual net migration rose to 70,700 in the year to October, from 70,300 a year earlier but down on the peak of 72,400 in July.
