The first electric aircraft to carry the Air New Zealand name has made its first test flight.
The battery-powered ALIA CX300 took off from Tauranga Airport after having arrived from the Beta Technologies plant in Vermont last week. It will initially be based in Hamilton, before moving to Wellington
