AirAsia X, which operates to Honolulu via Osaka, welcomed the US Federal Aviation Authority’s upgrading of Malaysia’s air safety ranking to Category 1 – a decision that will allow Malaysia-based airlines to expand flights to the US mainland after a three-year hiatus.
