Airbus beats Boeing to big China deal
Carry On: BA-Qatar partnership, Hong Kong restrictions, Skytrax awards.

Airbus landed another mega-deal to supply 40 narrow-bodied aircraft worth about US$4.8 billion at list prices to Xiamen Air, a subsidiary of China Southern. It is a major blow to Boeing, as Xiamen is an all-Boeing operator. The order for A320neos will be delivered from 2024 to 2027.
