Dubai’s Terminal 3 banishes passports for facial recognition

Passports and boarding passes are no longer needed at Dubai Airport’s Terminal 3.
Emirates has spent 85 million dirhams ($40m) installing more than 200 biometric cameras throughout Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport. This allows passengers to move through check-in, immigration, boarding gates, and lounges using just facial recognition. No more passports or boarding passes
