Hamilton Airport predicts first operational profit since 2019

Hamilton Airport said passenger numbers rose 39% in the second half of last year compared with 2024, mainly due to the introduction of trans-Tasman routes and domestic jet services.
Some 55,000 of the 71,000 increased number of travellers were on Jetstar flights to Sydney and the Gold Coast.
