Mega airlines propose global codeshare

United Airlines and Emirates applied to the US Transportation Department to implement their planned codeshare partnership, which covers 299 routes. United intends to place its UA code on Emirates-operated flights to 27 destinations beyond Dubai, including Addis Ababa, Jeddah and Muscat.
