Peter Owens.
Lawyer, schoolteacher and freelance journalist Peter Joseph Owens has died in Gore, aged 85.
He was born in Christchurch, where was educated at St Bede’s College and with his three siblings helped his father parents in a baking business, Delicious Cakes, in High St.
