Qantas buys long-haul jets by the dozen

New orders placed for 12 A350s and 12 B787s to replace A330 fleet from 2027.

Qantas Group will substantially boost its long-haul fleet with new orders for 24 aircraft, split evenly between Airbus and Boeing. None will be delivered until 2027 when they start to replace existing A330s.

The multi-billion-dollar order comprises 12 A350-1000s, eight B787-10s and four B787-9s.
