RNZAF’s first P-8A Poseidon begins production in the US
The Defence Force has ordered four aircraft based on Boeing’s 737-800 commercial jet.
Production of the first of four P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft for New Zealand has begun at Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, Kansas.
Manufacturer Boeing describes the P-8A as a long-range anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft
