RNZAF’s new Hercules soon to join Antarctic mission

The RNZAF’s new C-130J-30 Hercules will soon take over the Defence Force’s annual support of New Zealand and US Antarctic programmes.

The first ice flight for the just-delivered Hercules is scheduled for November. The annual deployment of 15 flights runs from September to March using RNZAF
