NZ imposes banking sanctions against Libya

New Zealand will freeze any assets Libyan leaders have in this country as part of a sanctions regime agreed by the United Nations.

A travel ban on Gaddafi family members will also be put in place, by the end of this week, under UN Resolution 1970.
