Skydive the Beach Group Limited’s (“SKB” or “Skydive”), Australia and New Zealand’s leading adventure tourism and leisure company, has appointed Mr Clark Scott as General Manager of its New Zealand operations, effective 21 March 2016.

Mr Scott has 30 years adventure tourism industry and operational leadership experience. He will be responsible for Skydive’s New Zealand tandem skydive operations known as NZone acquired in October 2015. Mr Scott was previously general manager of Shotover Jet, New Zealand’s market leading adventure company.

He was pivotal to its growth for 20 years, and more than 3 million customers have been thrilled by the Shotover Jet experience. His appointment increases Skydive’s adventure market capability on its journey to become the world’s largest adventure tourism and leisure operation.

Anthony Boucaut, Executive Director and CEO of Skydive commented: “Shotover Jet is a world famous and renowned experience product, and Mr Scott has transformed it into an iconic adrenalin-charged experience.

We are delighted to welcome him to Skydive where his marketplace expertise will be invaluable.” Anthony Ritter, Executive Director and CFO of Skydive, also commented: “Mr Scott brings a wealth of experience, industry knowledge and business acumen to Nzone as a highly respected NZ adventure industry leader.

“We have been delighted with our acquisition of Nzone, and Mr Scott will grow it even further on our quest to become the world’s largest adventure tourism and leisure company.” Mr Scott said, “Joining Skydive to run NZone is a brilliant opportunity for me. NZone provides a superlative experience to its customers; that is why it is the only tandem skydive company to win New Zealand’s Supreme tourism award.”
