Lawyers for stock exchange operator NZX are in closed court in Wellington arguing whether the exchange’s case against parties associated with its purchase of the Clear grain exchange for $A6.4 million in 2009 should be held here or across the Tasman.

As part of ongoing coverage of the stoush Tasman, NBR applied to the Wellington High Court last week for permission to take photos. NZX opposed the move, and lawyers for the exchange also asked that media be removed from today's proceedings. Justice Glendall denied both request.
The case is set down for one day.
