South Island tribe Ngai Tahu sold a 2% stake in retirement village developer and operator Ryman Healthcare today.

The sale of 10 million Ryman shares, most likely to institutional investors, leaves Ngai Tahu Capital with 30 million shares, making it the third-biggest investor with a 6%
