Opus International Consultants chief executive Kevin Thompson is to retire from the end of September.
Opus chairman Kerry McDonald said Dr Thompson had made an outstanding contribution during his nine years as chief executive, including in growing the business and its profitability, its listing on the NZX and responding to the global financial crisis.
The board had been aware that Dr Thompson was thinking about retirement. An announcement on his successor would be made soon.
