The makers of West Side Story, the prequel to Outrageous Fortune, have announced an open casting call for the role of Wolfgang (‘Wolf’) West.
In Outrageous Fortune, a hit for TV3 that ended its 6 season run in 2010, Wolf was played by Grant Bowler.
West Side Story’s producers at South Pacific Pictures are looking for a 15-18 year-old to play a younger version of the character, as the new series is set in the 1970s and will focus on Wolf and his parents – mum Rita and dad Ted West, a legendary safe-cracker and career criminal played by Frank Whitten the original series.
