Outward Bound appoints new school director
Outward Bound Trust of New Zealand is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Graney as School Director.
Outward Bound Trust of New Zealand is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Graney as School Director, replacing outgoing School Director Rob MacLean.
Previously Outward Bound Safety Manager, Graney brings to the role leadership experience gained in marketing and outdoor education roles in the public, private and non-profit sectors.
A qualified outdoor instructor, he is looking forward to consolidating his 20 years’ outdoor education experience which spans the delivery of outdoor programmes to managing, consulting and auditing.
Says Simon, “I am excited about the role and the opportunity I have to be part of a team making such a positive impact on the lives of New Zealanders.”
An Outward Bound alumnus, Simon will continue to live on site with his family at the Outward Bound school in the Marlborough Sounds.
