Hilton has appointed Rosie Turneras marketing communications manager and Noreen Bancaleas finance manager at its Kawarau Village development. Ms Turner comes from an agency background where she has worked with many Queenstown companies. Ms Bancale moves to Queenstown from Singapore where she worked as a management accountant at Hilton International Asia Pacific.

Ultrafast Fibre has appointed Brett Morris marketing manager. Mr Morris has nine years’ experience in marketing and communications, most recently working with Telecom, leading the company’s digital communications and social media portfolios.

Colliers International has appointed Kane Sweetmannational director valuation and advisory. Mr Sweetman was previously with CBRE in Sydney and has 16 years of property market experience.

Viresh Mathurhas been appointed hotel manager of CityLife Wellington, a Heritage hotel. Mr Mathur has been acting manager for the hotel for the past few months and was previously executive assistant manager of the Heritage Christchurch. He has recently completed a postgraduate diploma in business administration at the University of Auckland.

Rainey Collins Lawyers has appointed Jo-Ella Sarichand Debbie Dunbar as associates and Eve Rongo as a senior solicitor. Ms Sarich is an associate in the litigation team practicing in the Treaty of Waitangi field and specialises in immigration applications. Ms Dunbar is an asso-
ciate in the litigation team, with expertise in family and employment law. Ms Rongo works in Waitangi Tribunal claims and litigation. She has previous experience with the Environment Protection Authority along with tax experience.

CBRE has appointedBruce Catleymanaging director for its South Auckland office, replacing Paddy Callesenwho has stepped down after 18 years. Mr Catley joins CBRE from Palladian Advisory where he managed an investment portfolio and provided consultancy services to several investors and owners. He has over 20 years’ experience across a range of property types.

The Institutes of Chartered Accountants in both New Zealand and Australia have appointed Leo Mortaas their first transtasman chief information officer. He has a background in IT with experience in consulting, systems architecture, programme management, strategy development and executive leadership.

Christchurch Airport has appointed Dave Hawkey as head of a new tourism project highlighting the airport as a central player in bringing visitors into the South Island. Mr Hawkey was previously chief executive of Real Journeys, based in Te Anau.
