Rural services company PGG Wrightson has bought Australian seed distributor and exporter Keith Seeds.
The purchase, concluded yesterday, expanded PGG Wrightson's 75-year-old Australian seed operations, the company said.
The business would focus on pasture seed production and marketing, food grade pulse production and export, mainly to Asia, and seed processing and logistics from a facility in the South Australian town of Keith.
PGG Wrightson recently purchased the Corson Grain maize seed business in New Zealand.
