Digital platforms now paying GST despite some reservations
IRD warned that backtracking on plan to have platforms pay GST would come at 'a significant fiscal cost', a paper requested under the OIO shows.
Inland Revenue gave advice to the Government in December about starting to charge digital platform operators from April 1.
