First quarterly fall in inflation since December 2015

The Covid-19 global pandemic helped push down consumer prices by 0.5% in the three months to the end of June.

Statistics New Zealand said it was the first quarterly fall in inflation since December 2015, when prices also dropped by 0.5%.
