Nick Leggett, the chair of the Wellington Water Board, has stepped down in the wake of the 'deeply serious' Moa Point wastewater plant failure.
The sewage plant failed catastrophically last week, flooding the building with waste and pushing out raw sewage into the capital's south coast waters.
