PostClick New Zealand has signed MailOnline and Metacafe, three months after opening its New Zealand office.
The Australian website representation company opened its first New Zealand office in Auckland in September and will represent the Daily Mails’ MailOnline and video entertainment engine Metacafe.
The MailOnline provided United Kingdom and world news, as well as celebrity, sports, health, finance and television news from the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday newspapers, and reached over 500,000 unique browsers monthly, PostClick New Zealand said.
Metacafe.com was one of the world’s largest video sites, PostClick New Zealand said.
PostClick New Zealand national manager sales Ben Osborne said representing the two publishers were great early wins for the business.
“Both sites have great followings in New Zealand, and we are very excited about creating highly engaging campaigns for local advertisers on these exceptional platforms.
PostClick New Zealand, which is backed by Komli, served as an intermediary between publishers and advertisers, Mr Osborne said, and made booking online media easier for advertising agencies through its access to hundreds of websites.
The New Zealand office was going well, he said, and had undertaken work for various entities including Ogilvy New Zealand, OMD and the New Zealand government.
