Fonterra announces another Mainland payout
On a good news day for farmers, the milk price forecast also gets a boost.
The sale of the Mainland consumer brands business to Lactalis is due to complete by the end of March.
Dairy co-op Fonterra has announced a further payout for farmers from the sale of its Mainland Group consumer business.
In a statement released this morning Fonterra said it would distribute 100% of Mainland’s profits for the 2026 financial year up to its formal transfer to Lactalis.
