Fonterra’s Lactalis deal gets Bega sweetener
Co-op to receive a further $375m from Lactalis after Bega agrees to the transfer of brand licences.

Fonterra’s dispute over brand licences with Bega Cheese in Australia has been resolved, triggering a further $375 million payment from Lactalis under the Mainland Group sale announced on Friday.
The agreement takes the total payable to Fonterra by Lactalis to $4.22 billion.
