Government will rely on technological advances to cut methane

The Coalition Government has relaxed methane reduction targets for farmers, now expecting methane emissions to be reduced by 14-24% below 2017 levels by 2050.
And farmers will not face any costs over their emissions, with the Government arguing emissions can be cut through partnership, industry
