Progress (NASDAQ:PRGS) has announced it has appointed Trevor Rogers to the role of Director of Partner and Alliance for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). In this capacity, Rogers will focus on growing the Progress ANZ channel and partner network as the company expands its presence in the local market and helps companies navigate the digital transformation of their businesses. Rogers will be reporting to Craig Law, Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand at Progress.

Trevor Rogers will provide senior leadership and direction across the Progress channel partner and alliance division in the Australian and New Zealand market. He will assume responsibility for driving channel sales and growth in the region, across the company’s entire product portfolio, including its solutions for digital marketing, content and experience management, application development, business rules management and data connectivity. He will further consult and enable partners to grow and sustain a profitable digital business strategy in order to achieve their long-term business goals.

“The appointment of Trevor is a great coup for the Progress channel and partner development efforts in the region. Trevor’s passion and reputation as a partner evangelist precedes him. Progress will benefit from his proven success in all aspects of driving a successful partner ecosystem, from strategic alliances including local, global and regional SI partners, through to solution providers, service providers, resellers, distributors and ISV partners,” said Craig Law, Managing Director of Progress ANZ. “Trevor’s role is testament to our commitment in partnering with Australian and New Zealand businesses during a time of enormous change, to provide end customers with the tools necessary in navigating through this new digital environment,” said Law.

Rogers brings over 30 years of experience in successfully establishing indirect sales channels for both existing and emerging markets. A strong foundation of his career was built at HP Australia, where he spent 10 successful years in channel management. Most recently, he served as Partner Director of CA Technologies. Prior to this role, he was National Channel and Alliance Manager for Oracle.

“I’m excited to join Progress at such a pivotal time and look forward to building further momentum of a stronger partner ecosystem, that’s mutually beneficial for Progress and its partners,” said Rogers. “Partners are an integral component to the future growth and success of Progress as we enable companies to transform their businesses, and I will work collaboratively with them to engage their unique capabilities and skillsets to ensure a consistent business model that delivers a common ground of mutual success.”
