Build cost inflation continues to track down
Residential construction costs slowed to 1.1% over the past year, less than half the prior year as material supply chains play catch up.

It is more expensive to build a new home in New Zealand than it was 12 months ago, but not by much.
Latest data from CoreLogic's construction cost index shows the cost to build a single storey three bedroom, two-bathroom standalone home increased by 0.6% for the December quarter, half the 1.1%
