Ravensdown has announced the appointment of former Fonterra manager Gary Bowick to the role of National Relationships Manager, based in the company’s Christchurch office.
Gary joins Ravensdown from a national management role with Fonterra Brands Ltd and has a long history of national sales management experience.
“One of the greatest strengths of Ravensdown is its local team of expert advisors,” said Ravensdown’s General Manager, Customer Relationships, Bryan Inch. “While regional support is key, national co-ordination and leadership shares good practice and encourages a high-performance culture consistently across the country.”
All seven of Ravensdown’s regional managers and their field-based teams, along with the
co-operative’s commercial manager, will report directly to Gary.
“I’m familiar with the opportunities and challenges of building relationships with people who buy from and who own a share in a co-operative,” said Gary. “Ravensdown has a great reputation for getting the most from its people by treating them well so I’m excited to support and lead the regional teams as we offer world-class solutions, services and processes for our customers.”
Gary’s experience will enable Ravensdown to build on their continued success and focus on strategic opportunities.
