The Bayleys commercial franchise in Wellington has been sold to other members of the team.
Franchise owner Rohan Hill recently announced he was selling to move to Queenstown, where he plans to play more golf.
For 14 years he was a 50% owner of the franchise, Capital Commercial, with the other half held by Mark Hourigan and Richard Hudson.
The new shareholding gives the Bayleys family 40.11%; Mark Hourigan 40.11%; Grant Young, Elizabeth Young and Mark Chiu 4.95%; Fraser Press, Warren Press and Richard Hudson 4.95%; Mical Treadwell, Mark Sherlock and Deborah Sherlock 4.95%; and SAG Harbour owned by Andrew Smith 4.95%.
Mr Hourigan will be managing director of Bayleys Wellington.
Bayleys Corporation managing director Mike Bayley says he is considering expanding commercial services in the capital.
The residential sales operations are wholly owned by the Bayleys family and there are no changes to its structure.
