Russell-linked company heads to appeal court over tax avoidance

John Russell has accused Inland Revenue of having a vendetta against him in every case since the mid-1990s.

Inland Revenue’s No 1 enemy, John Russell, is back before the courts this week, this time for a company of which he is receiver.

Mr Russell, who has a personal tax bill of more than $400 million, is also the receiver of Kensington Developments.
