South Canterbury FInance failed to monitor accounts of jailed major fraudster Bennett.
New Zealand’s greatest fraudster, Gavin Bennett, was able to swindle money over six years because South Canterbury executives never checked his invoices.
This was one of the shocking revelations that came to light at his sentencing in Christchurch yesterday.
