Secondary market Auckland apartments averaging $6000 square metre
On average, investors make up about 60% of City Sales buyers, although there was a spike to 90% in November.
Auckland apartment specialist Scott Dunn of City Sales says prices for units on the secondary market are exceeding $6000 a square metre.
This compares with prices of new apartments at between $7000 a square metre and $10,000 a square metre.
