Senior US director joins leading Intangible Asset Strategy firm EverEdge

Vincent H. Tobkin has joined the Board of EverEdge, the Auckland founded intangible asset strategy firm, significantly boosting the firm's North American expansion.

Vincent H. Tobkin has joined the Board of EverEdge, the Auckland founded intangible asset strategy firm, significantly boosting the firm’s North American expansion.

Mr Tobkin has an extensive track record of global management consulting and venture capital experience. He co-led the Tech and Telecom Practice of Bain & Co globally for 19 years and founded and started two of Bain’s other major industry practices: Cruise Lines and North American Utilities. Prior to Bain, Mr. Tobkin was a Founding General Partner of Sierra Ventures, a major Silicon Valley based venture capital firm. Companies Sierra Ventures founded that IPO’ed include Stratacom (NASDAQ), Centex Telemanagement (NASDAQ), On Assignment (NASDAQ:ASGM), Net Mover (NASDAQ), and Advanced Technology Materials (NASDAQ:ATMI).  Prior to Sierra Ventures Mr Tobkin was a Partner of McKinsey & Co. and a leader of the firm’s High Technology practice, working between San Francisco, Tokyo and New York. He holds a JD and MBA (with Distinction) from Harvard Business School and two degrees in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

EverEdge which works with Senior Management teams, Boards and investors to generate value from intangible assets (data, content, code, brands, design, patents and confidential information) raised its first tranche of capital in 2013. Since then it has achieved rapid growth.

Revenues have doubled every year for the last three years and EverEdge now has offices in Los Angeles, London, Sydney and Auckland. Shareholders include Sir David Levene, Sir Ralph Norris, Punakaiki Fund, Alliance Equities, Michael Stiassny, John Barnett, Simon Poidevin and Bruce Sheppard.
