Wellington accountancy firm Stephenson Thorner today announced that Ngaire Gallagher has joined the practice as Manager and Leader of the firm’s Delivery Team.
Ngaire has over 15 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant. She began her career with KPMG and worked at Munro Benge BKR before establishing her own practice, Ngaire Gallagher Chartered Accountants.
She has specialised in providing business advisory services including helping new start-ups, commercial transactions, business planning and growth strategies, and preparing businesses for sale.

Ngaire has a BCA majoring in Accounting and Commercial Law) and a Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting from Victoria University of Wellington, was admitted to the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2003 and is a member of CPA Australia & New Zealand.
Of Ngati Raukawa descent, Ngaire is a member of Te Pae Tahuhu, the komiti that advises the Whaiti members of Te Runanga o Raukawa, has served as a trustee of the Wellington Dance Festival Trust, and has had a long association with Taki Rua Productions Society Incorporated who perform Te Reo Māori productions in schools, marae and communities throughout the country.
At Stephenson Thorner, as Delivery Team Manager, Ngaire will lead and mentor the team responsible for providing the firm’s accounting and business growth service to new and existing clients.
