Construction company fined only $2500 for using illegal migrant labour

Immigration NZ's scores first win in recent flurry of prosecutions.

Auckland construction company Dison Homes has been sentenced to pay $2500 after pleading guilty to two illegal migrant labour charges, with similar charges withdrawn against its sole director Dacheng Zhao. Each charge carried a maximum penalty of $10,000.
