Beingmate scraps plans to sell assets, dumps ageing product

A search of 10 recent online listings of Beingmate milk powder found nine were priced significantly below cost.

Fonterra’s embattled Chinese partner, Beingmate Baby & Child, has scrapped plans to sell an unprofitable subsidiary after failing to reach an agreement with related parties.

The company last year said it would sell Beingmate Anda Dairy Company, which runs dairy farms in China's Heilongjiang
