Fletcher withdraws its takeover offer for Steel & Tube
Fletcher wanted secrecy but Steel and Tube insists there’s no animosity.

Fletcher Building has withdrawn its takeover offer for Steel & Tube after the target’s board rejected an increased offer.
“Steel & Tube has announced that it does not support Fletcher Building’s revised proposal and that it would need a further three to four weeks to confirm this view,”
