Coalition lifts new R&D tax incentive to 15%, adds cash rebate
Ministers Woods and Nash hope the new scheme will boost New Zealand GDP.

After listening to businesses, the government’s new R&D scheme will offer companies a chance to claim a 15% rebate if they spend $50,000 or more on research from next April – up from the 12.5% initially mooted in the draft proposal while the spending threshold has been lowered.
