Law firm doubles size of Auckland team
Increased client demand leads to additions.
Tompkins Wake has welcomed several new faces to its Auckland team, almost doubling in size in the past six months.
Recent high-profile appointments in the Auckland office include partner Liz Lim, special counsel Nicky Thomas, partner Campbell Izzard and partner Mike Shanahan. In addition, Simon Jass, a litigation specialist, has been promoted to special counsel.
Auckland partner Tom Arieli said the firm’s growth was driven by markedly increased client demand, particularly for inbound investment, local merger and acquisition activity and banking and finance. The Auckland office now also has three Chinese language experts and extensive networks, both locally and in China.
