New DDB NZ creative director

Gary Steele joins NZ advertising agency.

Gary Steele is moving from Singapore to become advertising agency DDB NZ’s executive creative director in Auckland.

Mr Steele was head of the creative department at TBWA. He has spent 19 years at agencies across Africa, Asia and Europe, and has been named one of Singapore’s most influential creative directors for the last four years.

Recent career highlights include developing the Passion Made Possible brand platform for the Singapore Tourism Board, and a raft of award-winning campaigns with Airbnb.
