Power company Vector has appointed Tony Carter, Dame Paula Rebstock and Bruce Turner to its board.
Vector chairwoman Dame Alison Paterson said Vector has been working through a process of board renewal.
The Vector board has undertaken an external review to select candidates against a mix of identified director competencies.
The selection process determined that particular strengths are shown by Dame Paula in regulatory policy and government relations, Mr Turner in distribution network engineering, operations and market trading, and Mr Carter in customer, new technology disruption, government relations and corporate governance.
Vector’s majority shareholder, consumer trust Entrust, supports the appointments.
