Resumption of flights to Singapore welcomed

But Queenstown pleads for direct trans-Tasman flights soon.

The first Air New Zealand flight from Singapore in more than 720 days arrived in Auckland in the last week of March, marking the resumption of services to the Southeast Asian nation.
