This took the year to date return to 23.04 percent and the return since inception to 7.87 percent.
The fund had $18.82 billion in it at March 31.
Currently 61.2 percent of the fund is invested in global equities and 11.3 percent in international fixed income markets.
The fund is intended to be a long term investment vehicle to help meet the future costs of New Zealand superannuation. It is separate to Kiwisaver.
The fund made a 3 percent return in March, which it attributed to a rally in global equity markets.
