Swearing boss unlikely to win appeal sympathy

A boss fined $100,000 for swearing at an employee is unlikely to have much choice but to write the cheque.

Christie Hall, senior associate at Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, says although the payout fine seems high, it was unlikely to meet the “manifestly unjust” threshold required for an appeal
