Former RadioLive host John Tamihere says he will sue MediaWorks over his departure.
Mr Tamihere and co-host Willie Jackson were stood down last month after a controversial interview with a girl who phoned saying she was a friend of a victim of the Roast Busters.
Advertisers said they would pull advertising from RadioLIVE following the broadcast.
Mr Tamihere told Radio Waatea yesterday he would sue his former employer MediaWorks, telling the station: “I will be litigating again with Mediaworks very shortly so you can read all the salacious bits in the affidavits and in the emails but, whenever I go anywhere, I will go on my own terms, won't go on anyone else's terms”

Earlier this week it was announced that Mr Jackson will return next year with a show co-hosted by former Seven Sharp presenter Ali Mau, while Tamihere will not return.
MediaWorks spokeswoman Rachel Lorimer says Mr Tamihere’s contract has come to an end and declined to comment on any legal action taken by Mr Tamihere.
Mr Tamihere has not responded to NBR ONLINE’s request for comment.
